Champion has been one of the most respected names in Motor Graders for more than a hundred years. Champion Motor Graders started specializing in the development of compact graders and attachments over 25 years, providing specialized equipment for the road maintenance and paving industry. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Champion has dedicated its engineering and manufacturing plant to the production of compact machines that achieve the same productivity as full-size machines. The Champion motor grader model range includes five basic models with operating weights from 12,000 to 15,500 lbs. The machines feature the full range of single-axle, tandem and all-wheel 4x4 and 6x6 drive systems.

This year Champion motor graders released its first Production Class Motor Graders. The new C110 and C116 C Series models that were introduced at this years ConExpo 2008, bridge the gap between traditional compact graders and full size road building machines. In 1980 the family business which is now Champion Motor Graders was a local contracting firm in NC. The contracting business was looking for a motor grader that worked well in close quarters, and performed reliably every day. Champion could not find a grader to fill these needs and so started engineering and manufacturing their own. Today Champion motor graders are some of the most efficient machines on the market.
